this was taken a couple of weekends ago. it was a sunny Saturday and we had an impromptu picnic trip to this place called Bellevue Beach, about an hour and half outside St. John's. i'm actually not sure if we found our intended beach destination, but we did have our picnic in a beautiful pond somewhere there and a couple of minutes up the road is an amazing rocky beach.

winged migration.

okay, seagulls don't migrate. or do they?

i've done my own migration, temporarily, out west and across the border to be with m. and more semi-permanently later on.

for now, we are having an incredibly hot, hot, hot weather around here. even the back of my knees are sweating! not pretty. i'm wishing for the Atlantic breeze to cool me down. and moo moo's soft serve ice cream would be nice, too.
