oh my. how long has it been since either m or i posted here? we've neglected this little blog for way too long. but to be fair, we do have a very lovely and amazing reason for our lack of posting -- we got married last month! yay!

this was taken a couple of weekends ago. it was a sunny Saturday and we had an impromptu picnic trip to this place called Bellevue Beach, about an hour and half outside St. John's. i'm actually not sure if we found our intended beach destination, but we did have our picnic in a beautiful pond somewhere there and a couple of minutes up the road is an amazing rocky beach.

will post more pictures from this little day trip sometime soon!

moving roadtrip days 1 & 2

I've left St. John's yet again. This time the Uhaul is twenty six feet long. Where does all this stuff come from?

My apologies to everyone I didn't get to say hey to before leaving. I tried... Needless to say I was packing until three AM the night before - as usual.

rainbows

There was a sneaky rainbow today! Here are some rushed pictures of it.

E and I were walking and it was nice, but on the way home storm clouds... uhhh... stormed in. In typical Newfoundland style it went from nice to windy and raining in about two minutes. We made it home just in time and spotted this scene from our deck.
