docudrama, part 2.

everyone, meet Simba. this wonder kitty was part of a litter but was unfortunately left behind when its mother moved the rest of the fam somewhere else.

m's parents heard and found Simba outside their window on Thursday. they waited overnight for the momma cat to come back but no such luck. so they ended up rescuing Simba the morning after, bringing her to the vet, and taking care of her.

happily, Simba's adventure will continue. m's parents' found a home for her today. yay!

this was taken a couple of weekends ago. it was a sunny Saturday and we had an impromptu picnic trip to this place called Bellevue Beach, about an hour and half outside St. John's. i'm actually not sure if we found our intended beach destination, but we did have our picnic in a beautiful pond somewhere there and a couple of minutes up the road is an amazing rocky beach.

will post more pictures from this little day trip sometime soon!

it was little k's 3rd birthday today.

m drew the cutest card for her. it's an Echidna! little k is super into this spiny creature and it's the closest we could get to actually giving her one.

blowing out candles is serious business. she loved her carrot-pineapple cake, but she loved the creamcheese icing even more.
the little triangle paper banners were a hit.
