the rising sun.

it's been a running joke with us to say "take a picture" in a silly voice any time we see something pretty or interesting, even if neither of us has a camera at the time. last Wednesday morning m woke up with a start at around 5 and stayed awake just long enough to say take a picture. oh, he also mumbled how incredible it was before immediately falling back to sleep. i actually did take a picture this time around, groggy as i was.


it truly was a pretty sunrise, but it was much more impressive in real life. the whole sky was a sea of orange!
