it's really cool as well that Georgetown Bakery is now encouraging its customers to bring in their own bags/containers when buying. as an extra little incentive, customers get 5 cents off their purchase when they provide their own bag. i know, it's not a huge amount of cash, but it's really more the idea of being environmentally responsible.
speaking of environment, today was garbage day in our neighbourhood. rows of garbage were waiting to get picked up. there was quite a lot of it, too.
